1. Scope
1.1 This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on tax-samadhan.com, operated by TAXSAMADHAN CONSULTING PRIVATE LIMITED, CIN U74120UP2022PTC167960, registered office 19/201, Sundram Khand, Sector 19, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201012, India.
1.2 It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal data once we hold it, and the Terms & Conditions, which govern use of the site.
2. What a cookie is
2.1 A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It can be read back when you return, which is how a site remembers a cart, a login, or that a visitor has been seen before.
2.2 The same rules in this policy apply to technologies that behave like cookies — local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits — regardless of the label.
2.3 A first-party cookie is set by this site. A third-party cookie is set by another domain whose content appears on a page.
3. Prior-consent blocking — how this site actually behaves
3.1 On your first visit, no cookie other than a strictly necessary one is written. Scripts that would set analytics or functional cookies are held and not executed. They are released only after you consent to their category.
3.2 The consent banner offers, at the same level of prominence and in the same style:
- Accept all — enables every optional category.
- Reject all — leaves only strictly necessary cookies in place. One click, on the first screen, the same size and weight as Accept.
- Manage preferences — lets you switch categories on individually.
3.3 There is no pre-ticked box for an optional category. Closing the banner, scrolling, or continuing to browse is not consent, and we do not treat it as consent.
3.4 We record what you chose and the date and time you chose it, so we can show, if asked, that consent was obtained. That record is kept for 12 months.
3.5 A consent decision is asked for again after 12 months, and immediately if we add a category or a new third-party technology.

4.1 Strictly necessary — always on

4.2 Analytics — off until you consent
4.2.1 Google Analytics 4 is the only analytics tool on this website. Its tag does not load, and no analytics cookie is written, until analytics consent is recorded. If you reject, or make no choice, GA4 never runs.

4.2.2 Where GA4 runs, IP addresses are truncated before storage, advertising and personalisation signals are disabled, and Google Signals is off. The measurements tell us which pages are read and where visitors give up. They are not used to build a profile of an individual and are not combined with an engagement file.
4.3 Functional — off until you consent
4.3.1 Functional cookies remember preferences you have set, such as a dismissed notice. They are not required for the site to work and they are blocked until you allow them.
4.4 Advertising — none
4.4.1 This website carries no advertising, remarketing, conversion or social media pixels. There is no Google Ads tag, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok or X pixel, and no audience-building tag of any kind. There is no advertising category to switch on because none exists.
5. Third-party embeds
5.1 Google Maps is the only third-party embed on this website, used on the contact page to show the location of our registered office.
5.2 The map is not loaded automatically. It is held behind a placeholder and loads only when you consent to embedded content or click to load it. Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, governed by Google’s privacy notice rather than ours.
5.3 Fonts are self-hosted from our own server. Nothing is fetched from a font content delivery network, so no request leaves your browser to a third party for typography.
5.4 We use no third-party captcha script. Forms are protected by a hidden field and a submission-timing check, both of which run on our own server and set no cookie.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choice
6.1 Open the cookie preferences link in the site footer. It is present on every page. Change any category and save; withdrawal takes effect immediately.
6.2 Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent — the same control, the same number of clicks. On withdrawal we stop the affected scripts and expire the cookies we set under that category.
6.3 Cookies already written by a third party before withdrawal can also be cleared in your browser settings. Every major browser can block cookies, delete them, and clear them on exit; the instructions live in that browser’s help.
6.4 Blocking strictly necessary cookies in your browser will break the cart, the checkout and the account area.
7. Legal basis and your rights
7.1 We rely on your consent for analytics, functional and embedded-content cookies, under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and on consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 where personal data is processed through them.
7.2 Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because they are required to deliver the service you requested.
7.3 Your rights over data collected through cookies — access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent — are set out in section 10 of the Privacy Policy, and are exercised through the same route.
8. Do Not Track and global signals
8.1 Browsers send Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals inconsistently and there is no settled standard. Our position does not depend on them: nothing optional runs until you have actively consented, whatever your browser sends.
9. Changes to this policy
9.1 If we add a technology that sets cookies, this policy is updated before it goes live and consent is requested again for the affected category. The effective date at the head of the page shows the current version.
